I have over 10 years research experience in grain science and technology focusing of grain fibres, such as oat and barley beta-glucans. Additionally, I have experience in studying physicochemical properties of grain macromolecules, as well as interactions of fibres, starch and proteins and their role in structure formation of foods. My research is combining chemical analyses, technological processes, and in vitro digestibility evaluation. As a principal investigator, I have led research projects and supervise doctoral research.
